I'm on Android 11 and I want to backup my files to a drive but I don't want it to change the modified date for folders and files...

    Best way to preserve such attributes is packing all files into a TAR archive. You can create it via adb and directly save it on the PC: adb exec-out 'cd /sdcard; tar -cf - .' > backup.tar

  • An external hdd is fine. Just place the path before the backup.tar (specify an absolute path like F:\backup.tar on Windows.
