I have LineageOS 17.1 with Magisk on my phone and this night system storage usage blew from 7GB to 40 GB

  • As you have root you can exactly track what files occupy the storage space. Once you know the file(s) it is usually not a big problem to understand what app/service has created the files. – Robert Oct 9 at 10:45
